The Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County held an Annual General Meeting on September 18th  to recap the  year and celebrate our members and community partners. We enjoyed a wonderful meal from our dear friends at Koolini Italian Eatery, and had the opportunity to socialize and recall our successes from 2018-2019.

Outgoing Multicultural Council President Patricia Reid-Crichton was recognized for her service to the organization, and long-serving members of the Herb Gray Harmony Gala Committee were honoured for their dedication and commitment.
First-time Carrousel of the Nations villages from both Windsor and Leamington were acknowledged and thanked, and awards were presented for Carrousel of the Nations 2019. Third Place went to the Hungarian Cultural Centre Village, Second Place to the Filipino Community Centre Windsor Village, and First Place to back-to-back winners the St. Cyril’s Slovak Centre in Windsor Village. The evening also provided a chance to thank our event and program sponsors, including our friends at ENWIN, the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers and WFCU Credit Union.
