Each year, The MCC welcomes approximately 250 Government Assisted Refugees destined to Windsor.
As the first contact in Canada, our staff provide:
Life Skills is a component of the Resettlement Assistance Program and is designed to supplement the services provided upon their arrival to Canada.
Life Skills are delivered in the following areas:
Windsor Resettlement Assistance Program services can only be provided to a Government Assisted Refugees.
The Client Support Services Program is a Canada-wide program aimed at enhancing the delivery of the Resettlement Assistance Program. The Client support services program provides coordinated case management services to Government Assisted Refugees as well as community capacity building initiatives to support a more positive settlement experience in Canada.
Our team of highly-skilled client support services case managers provide up to one year of intensive case management, based on level of need, to clients as they transition into Canadian society. Client support services Windsor is also part of a network of community-based organizations that are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of immigrants in the Windsor-Essex area.

MCC Settlement staff provide assistance completing forms, making community inquiries, setting up appointments, connecting to local services, and goal setting for their futures.
MCC Orientation Services also offers specialized group workshops on various topics, including Driving in Ontario and Canadian Citizenship preparation.
Eligibility: 18 years of age or older and must be a Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee, on a special Minister´s Permit or possess an eligibility letter for Permanent Residence from IRCC.
