Multicultural initiatives

PROGRAM is guided by the community group called the Community Partners for Multicultural Health (CPMH) that is a local coalition of health, social service and newcomer organizations.
The group includes: Windsor Essex Community Health Centre, BANA, Canadian Red Cross, YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, Windsor- Essex County Health Unit, Service Alliance for Equality (SAFE), Canadian Mental Health Association Windsor-Essex County, and Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County.

OBJECTIVES of the Program:

• To reduce barriers and improve access to health services for immigrants
• To promote good health and well-being for all newcomers and immigrants within diverse ethno-cultural communities in Windsor-Essex
