Annual General Meeting 2014
On Tuesday, September 16th the Multicultural Council held its Annual General Meeting and Volunteer/Sponsor Appreciation Party at the All Saints Anglican Church of Canada.
This yearly gathering showcased achievements of the organization throughout the year. The occasion also celebrated the volunteers and sponsors for their valuable contribution to our organization and events.

Since its early days, volunteers have been at the heart of the MCC to help us fulfill our mission to create a harmonious society and welcoming community. This year we recognized three special individuals: Jimela Hall, Youth Program, Najat Mikho, Newcomers Settlement Program and Sarka Kebiskova, Nurse Practitioner Program. We thank them for giving us their time and talent.
Last year the Multicultural Council celebrated their 40th anniversary. This special occasion was marked by the creation of a special presentation which highlighted our milestones over the last 40 years. In partnership with United Way, the Leadership Windsor Essex Community Action Team did an outstanding job on this project. Special recognition went to Kathleen E. Andrew, Leigh Vachon, Douglas Sartori and Greg Atkinson.
The last part of the evening was saved to announce the 2014 Carrousel of the Nation winners.
