Carrousel of the Nations

Windsor, Ontario, March 4^th, 2024 – The Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County (MCC) is excited to announce its recognition by Festival & Events Ontario (FEO) as one of the Top 100 events in Ontario for the prestigious Carrousel of the Nations festival.

Since 1974, the award-winning Carrousel of the Nations has become a cornerstone of the region’s summer festival lineup. Through its vibrant showcases of food, music, and dance, Carrousel captivates attendees, immersing them in the rich tapestry of cultures represented. As the sole ethnic and multicultural festival in the region, Carrousel offers residents and visitors a unique opportunity to explore a diverse array of traditions and customs they may not encounter otherwise. The MCC takes great pride in coordinating the collaborative efforts of various ethnic communities, aiming to both educate and entertain countless attendees.

As the MCC continues its mission to create a welcoming community for all, this recognition serves as a testament to the organizations impact within the community. The MCC is thrilled to foster the ongoing growth of the Carrousel of Nations, highlighting the vibrant celebration of diversity that enriches the Windsor and Essex County community. Plans are already underway for this year’s event, schedule to take place on the weekends of June 14^th – June 16^th, and June 21^st – 23^rd.
