Windsor & Essex County’s Only Single-Stop Health and Wellness
Expo For Newcomers.
Led by the Multicultural Council of Windsor & Essex County, Health Access Day is a joint venture of Community Partners for Multicultural Health (CPMH). Since 2002, the CPMH has presented this annual expo-style event to promote healthy choices, and to improve awareness of and access to local health and social services for newcomers.
The exhibition features representatives from all facets of personal wellness – including nutrition, sports and fitness, mental health, social involvement, medical treatment, community services, and more.
Refugees, newcomers, immigrants, and members of ethno-cultural communities are provided with transportation to the event, and attend free of charge.
In 2019, over 900 visitors met face-to-face with and learned about services from 50 community agencies and organizations.
