Once the over-7000 votes were counted to name the “Best of Windsor Essex”, the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County’s Carrousel of the Nations was declared the favorite! Carrousel took home top prize in the category “Best Local Festival – Food and Drink”, beating out nominees from across the region. The social media campaign, held by Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island spanned January and February, and included both nomination and voting periods.
The Multicultural Council would like to thank everyone who took part in the voting, and congratulate those who made the event such an incredible fan favorite.
